True Second Amendment activists working to reform the debate, legislation and administration of gun culture in these United States of America, together with our elected representatives, law enforcement agencies and fellow citizens to create "well-regulated militias" in all 50 states as written in the U.S. Constitution -

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary for the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." - Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

Let's use the wording for our advantage making sure that only the good guys have the guns helping to provide for the general welfare of The People. 

​

Well regulated militias are a way to change the debate concerning gun rights and gun controls. This strategy presents candidates and incumbent legislators an opportunity to make real headway in what has more traditionally been an intractable issue. Creating well regulated militias will likely begin at the state level. Blue states should be the obvious place to concentrate efforts. When one state legislates and forms a legal state militia, it will be easier to enforce the second amendment and ensure that those who are not part of the militia have no legal right to keep and bear arms.

And we are taking aim at the NRA = Not Reasonable Association. This organization has only five million members, yet spends millions of dollars to ensure that no resonable gun controls are passed by our elected legislators. The Responsible Firearms Association is aiming to win the fight with the gun manufactures who care little about the safety of the American public and lots about making profits. Together we can and will lobby ( legally bribe ) our elected representatives to work for "the domestic tranquility" of our nation as is written in the preamble of the U.S. Constitution, which should include reasonable gun regulations and enforcement thereof.

 

Members have the ability to increase their rank and status within the RFA through the following;

 

Demonstrating true knowledge about the second amendment

     the second amendment was written as it was with two main considerations which can be found by researching records of the debates at the first constitutional convention and the writings of the Founding Fathers. Firstly, Southern states needed arms to supress the slave rebellions at the time. A "well regulated militia" was intended to serve as a defense of the newly forming nation in leiu of a standing army. Today we have no legal slavery or slave rebellions and the largest standing military in the world so it would seem that the second amendment no longer serves its' original purpose.

Knowledge about gun violence facts in this country and accross the globe

Knowledge about the NRA - their agenda, strategies and tactics

​

Voluntary purchasing of liability insurance for owned firearms

​

Racial sensitivity traing - because bigotry + firearms = trouble

​

Periodic mental health assessments - because mental illness + firearms = danger

​

Working to create well regulated militias administrated through the state in conjunction with law enforcement agencies and possibly the National Gaurd.

The RFA will also conduct demonstration rallys and protest marches to garner media attention for the purpose of bringing to light in the public mind many of the items listed above.
